@ 1676 The punishment of Hell 78:21-30
78:21 Indeed, Gehenna (Hell) has become an ambush,
# إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَاداً 21
78:22 a return for the insolent,
# لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآباً 22
78:23 there, they shall live for ages,
# لابِثِينَ فِيهَا أَحْقَاباً 23
78:24 tasting neither coolness nor any drink
# لاَ يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْداً وَلاَ شَرَاباً 24
78:25 except boiling water and pus
# إِلاَّ حَمِيماً وَغَسَّاقاً 25
78:26 for a suitable recompense.
# جَزَاءً وِفَاقاً 26
78:27 Indeed, they did not hope for a Reckoning,
# إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا لاَ يَرْجُونَ حِسَاباً 27
78:28 and they absolutely belied Our verses,
# وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا كِذَّاباً 28
78:29 and everything We have numbered in a Book.
# وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ كِتَاباً 29
78:30 'Taste! We shall not increase you except in punishment!'
# فَذُوقُوا فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلاَّ عَذَاباً 30
